I am Caroline – Virtual PA…

With a proven track record of over 15 years experience as a Senior Corporate Personal Assistant, I have a wealth of experience in Admin Management and Business Support, teamed with outstanding time management and organisational skills. I also have considerable exposure within Office Management and a good understanding of HR practice.

I started my career working as a Team Secretary for a local firm in Teesside, before moving to Newcastle to work as a PA to the Business Unit Director of a Global Fabric Maintenance and Construction Support company. I relocated to Aberdeen 15 years ago and have since worked for a number of Oil & Gas related service companies.

I currently work for a construction and civil engineering firm as PA to the Chairman and CEO.

I work remotely using Windows and Microsoft Office Applications and high-speed Broadband connection.

I am an accredited member of the UK Association of Virtual Assistants. The one-stop shop information resource for virtual assistants and their clients.

    Powerpoint presentations can easily be created – all you need to do is provide basic content by post or email and the rest of the design and presentation can be done out of sight and by a deadline to suit you.

    Having your work proof-read by someone objective and not involved in the original process, can achieve a more fluid and professional finish to any piece of work.

    How I can improve your work:
    - Remove errors of grammar and punctuation and mark amendments accurately and consistently.
    - Ensure consistency – particularly of alternative spellings and grammar – by following a style guide, if one is supplied, or by compiling my own.
    - Evaluate and comment on your referencing.
    - Check that page numbers are consecutive and that page headings are correct.
    - Cross-check chapter titles with the table of contents.
    - Ensure that illustrations and their captions and labels correspond with each other and with the text.

    Acceptable changes are corrections to editorial or typesetter errors, clarifying ambiguous grammar and dealing with inconsistencies, but not restructuring or rewriting. If extensive changes are needed at the proof reading stage, I will discuss the situation with you before proceeding with any changes. I will not re-edit work at this stage.
  • Student Dissertations

    If you are a student studying for an under-graduate or post-graduate degree, you will find as part of the course, a Thesis/Dissertation will be a large contribution to the award of the degree. Together with comprehensive proof reading (see above), I can also edit and present your work in a professional format which will improve layout and readability, resulting in a document that is fluid and clearly presented.

Fees are NOT subject to VAT. Settlement of accounts is expected within 14 days from receipt of Invoice. Failure to settle will result in a 5% surcharge applied continually every calendar month.

Terms of Business

Normal turnaround for work is 48 hours depending on the size of the assignment.

Turnaround will be discussed and agreed before an assignment starts.

Local collection and delivery service may be available at a minimal extra charge.

Completed work will be supplied by email or first class mail.

Final proof reading is the responsibility of the client although any errors or omissions will be rectified, free of charge, if notified within 48 hours of receipt.
